Управление и хинты:

To select an Angel, hit the number key corresponding to the right person: 0 = Elshior, 1 = Milfieulle, 2 = Ranpha, etc..

Double tap to see the Angel Frame itself.
Once you've selected who you want, you can issue commands.

Note: The piloting keys make the controls very clunky in this game, but if you make wise use of the auto-pilot function, it'll help greatly.

Simulation mode is unique in the fact that you pilot one of the frames, so you take on the role of the girl you're controlling, so you're responsible for assisting in actually firing on and repelling enemies, not to mention covering your friends' behinds. Also you have to manage the other Angel-tai just as if you were playing normal mode, which makes it that much more fun.

It's pretty fun once you get the tactics of how to actually handle your Frame, since a lot of factors come in to play. IE: Leading your targets when you fire, your speed determines how manueverable you are when evading fire, and there's even a gravity factor on the level where you have to defend the Sky Palace on EDEN ~ that is, any physical ammunition you fire will have gravity pull on it, so you have to lead your targets AND compensate for gravity, makes the level a bit challenging!

Hmm, guess while I'm at it, I should hand out some tips on Simulation Mode that I came up with while I was playing Milfie's Simulation Mode:

- Any time you start a battle, hit T immediately. This puts a circle around every ship in the area, making it easier to pick targets. Red codes enemies, Blue codes the Angel-tai and the Elshior, and Green are allied ships (gun fodder).

- Familiarize yourself with the icons that designate the Angel-tai, so when you use the tactical map, you can recognize who is where at all times.

- Since you are not given a briefing when a mission starts, make sure to pause the game with P and hit C to check the tactical map. This is good way to plan your strategy.

- Get used to the chatter during the battle, it'll give hints on what's going on (even if you don't understand Japanese). The Angel-tai will give alerts on when they're low on energy, when their special is full, if they just got clobbered etc. You'll also recieve transmissions from the Elshior on incoming support or if more enemies just dropped in. Play the game for a while, and you'll know what the girls are trying to say during battle.

- Energy management is a must early on, since the girls' morale is lower in the beginning, so you'll expend more energy from just flying about and attacking enemies. Be sure to go back "resupply" with the U key!

- Like I said before, using the keys to fly is a big headache and really turned me off from playing Sim mode at first. For a smoother flying experience, use:

R - Moves Ship Front -> Mouse/Camera Reticle - In other words, your ship moves toward the direction of your mouse aim reticle as long as you hold R down.

V - Moves Mouse/Camera Reticle -> Ship Front - In other words, moves your mouse aim cursor toward the heading of your ship as long as you hold V down.

B - Auto-pilot to Locked-on Target - toggles it on and off, will move toward a new target if you choose a different one while in Auto-mode.

Use these wisely, and you'll be an expert in no time.

- When you find yourself on the tail of an enemy ship and you have it as your current target, park yourself there with the Z key, which matches your target's speed, so you can hammer without having to do any fancy fly-bys.

- If you find yourself far away from enemies and they are too close to mission objectives, use the TAB key to use your boost, which propels you at ridiculous speeds, but also drains the heck out of your energy. This is also useful if you're trying to get back to the Elshior to resupply yourself, so the energy drain is not a concern. That way you can get back into the heat of batte right away.

- Each Ship has it's own strengths and weaknesses against certain targets, this is very apparent early on. Learn how each frame operates and use it to your advantage. IE: Don' send Ranpha to fight a Capital Ship (at least not alone) She's good against the smaller fighters and is the dogfighter of the group.

- Keep moving! When engaging a target that uses heavy weapons (IE: Missles) do a fly-by at full speed, using the clunk keys to evade as you approach, as you go by your target keep your camera on the it, using your roll and pitch keys to shake off an missles that may have launched at you.

- Watch each other's back. You're a team out there and you can't fight everything out there by yourself. If you see someone getting their rear end handed to them, have them disengage and fly towards Vanilla, using her R (Repair) function to nurse them back to health. It also helps if you send Vanilla in their direction, since she's not the fastest of the group. Send support as needed and preserve your team out there.

- Work as a team. Having several ships attack one target will bring it down faster than assigning one ship to a target, but still try to spread out the damage so enemies don't slip through and cause havoc in the backfield.

- Protect the Elshior! In each stage, there will be at least one ship that will attack your mothership. Even though the Elshior can hold her own against fighers, bomber-types will put more dents in the shiny armor than hail on a GTO, and remember, she's not a combat vessel, but a "ceremonial vessel"... Be sure to always check her status constantly and if you're too busy yourself to assist, send someone fast (like Ranpha) to rush the targets and give the Elshior some breathing room. If worse comes to worse, assign the Elshior to attack, that way at least the attackers recieve some damage. If it really gets dire, Hit Shift + A and assign everyone to attack the enemy. Remember, if the Elshior is destroyed, it's game over.

- Pause the game! That's right, I said pause. If the action gets too rough and things are exploding around you, hit P to pause. Even though the action will stop, you can still use your mouse to look around you, use C to check the tactical situation and you can even select new targets with X and B to turn on auto-pilot. Only things you can't do are attack or move, but this pausing lets you plan your next move carefully.

- Use your specials wisely. If you or your wing angels achieve Special mode and wait too long, you'll lose the status. This status is only achieved by successfully attack enemies and getting attacked (method not recommended to build your S gauge), so make sure everyone participates in battle. Also, don't use a heavy attack on a weakened target. Find a fresh nearby target and make mincemeat out of them. Of course, each Ship has it's own special mode, here's a listing of them.
